WiFi Campaigns

From Mobitouch cube

From firmware release 3031 (wlp-cube) and 5031 (wlp-500) mobitouch platform adds support WiFi campaigns.

All you must do is to set up your wifi content and then configure and connect the node to a WiFi router.

You can access WiFi content management and WiFi statistics selecting one ore more nodes in Node Manager and clicking on respective buttons.

Wifi Content

By default, the cms generates automatically a landing page, optimized for iPhone, that shows the content of the current bluetooth campaign running on the node.

You can choose to upload your fully customized microsite, compressing it in a zip file and uploading it.

Note that:

• microsite files and subfolders must be located directly in the root of the zip file, not inside an internal folder;
• microsite zipped file maximum allowed size is 8 MBytes;
• you can access and show files used in bluetooth campaigns without including in the zip file: you find them under /mobitouch folder of the webserver;
• there are not server side scripting capabilities on mobitouch nodes (php, asp, jsp, etc.), microsites can be written using html, css and javascript.

WiFi Statistics

From statistics page you can download a detailed csv file you can import in MS Excel or OpenOffice Spreadsheet.

Every line in statistics represents a wifi session that last up to an hour. So, if a wifi device connects and disconnects few times in 60 minutes it will appeare only once.
