Time Schedule

A Time Schedule determines whether a campign have to start or not. Basically it is composed by two main characteristics:

  • Start date Start time End date End time, that represent the period of validity of the time schedule
  • Periodicity, define when during the period of validity a campaign have to be executed

Periodicity

There are several types of Periodicity:

  • Always, the campaign is always active during the entire period of validity
  • Days of the week, the campaign is active only during the selected days of the week within the hour interval chosen. In the picture below, for example, the campaign would be executed only during the days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 10:00 and 18:00.

  • Days of the month, the campaign is active only during the selected days of the month within the hour interval chosen. In the picture below, for example, the campaign would be executed only during the days 5 to 10 between 09:00 and 20:00.

  • Every day, the campaign is active every day within the hour interval chosen. In the picture below, for example, the campaign would be executed every day between 14:00 and 18:00.

  • Preferred hours, the campaign starts only at the hours selected and lasts duration minutes. In the picture below, for example, the campaign would start at 11:00 and would last 120 minutes (note that it's possible to choose more than one temporal starting point)

  • Every X minutes, the campaign starts every X minutes, where X is the value inserted in the Schedule every text box, and lasts for the minutes specified into the Duration text box. For example, in the picture below, the campaign would start evry 10 minutes and would last 5 minutes.
