Nodes and zones

From the menu shown in the picture below you can acccess the Nodes and zones section.

Nodes and zones manager

The picture below shows a typical example of Nodes and zones manager table. It gives you a snapshot of your bluetooth network status, every row represent a specific node and contains information regarding the synchronization process. The nodes are grouped under zones.



Trough the headers menu it is possible to:

  • View and Edit the settings of a node or group of nodes (refer to Nodes for further explanations of settings meanings)
  • Monitor the status of a node, the Diagnostic button guides you trough the monitoring functionalities of a node (refer to Diagnostic for further explanations)
  • View the statistics, the Statistics button shows the page containing the statistics associated to a node or a a group of nodes
  • Create a campaign, the New campaign button allows to create a campaign for the selected node/group of nodes
  • View campaigns, the View campaign button allows to view the campaigns associated to a node/group of nodes.

Nodes configuration templates

It is possible to define and store nodes configuration templates, those templates will be useful to configure nodes to be used in situation where you've just made experiences about the best way to set nodes properties (bus stations, exhibitions, and so on...). Using templates will keep the nodes configuration work flow pretty straightforward.

Activate a new node

Node Activation is straightforward. Just type the code you found inside the WLP-500 package into the Activation Page form.


Defining zones

Trough the form on the right of the nodes table it is possible to define new zones.

To add a node to a zone just drag and drop it into a zone.
